We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Compliance Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of our IT compliance and risk programs across our national network of data centers. This role is critical to ensuring our IT operations align with regulatory requirements, customer expectations, and industry best practices.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Compliance Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of our IT compliance and risk programs across our national network of data centers. The IT Compliance Manager will collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations teams to build a robust governance framework, ensure the effectiveness of technical and procedural controls, and support external and internal audits.

Reporting to the CTO the IT Compliance Manager is responsible for…
- Lead enterprise-wide IT compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., SOX, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST, ect).
- Own and manage the IT controls framework, including mapping systems and controls to relevant regulatory and contractual obligations.
- Function as audit lead for in scope systems by directing and coordinating activities including audit preparation, evidence collection, response management, and remediation tracking.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, regulators, and customer compliance assessments.
- Design and maintain IT policies, procedures, and risk management documentation.
- Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to implement and monitor effective controls.
- Oversee third-party/vendor risk assessments and compliance due diligence.
- Build and report on compliance metrics, KPIs, and risk dashboards to senior leadership.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on compliance obligations and best practices.
- Stay current with regulatory changes and proactively assess their impact on operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in IT compliance, GRC, or IT audit roles.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to data centers and cloud infrastructure (SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53, PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Experience managing complex audits, including execution of evidence collection and remediation oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into actionable compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
- Experience with compliance automation or GRC tools (e.g., ServiceNow GRC, Archer, OneTrust, Tugboat Logic).
- Familiarity with hybrid IT environments including on-prem data centers and public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Salary range: starting at CAD $95,000, depending on experience
