Position Overview
LawDepot is currently expanding and looking to recruit a Business Development Executive in Edmonton, Alberta. Working in the Business Development Department, you will be responsible for leading our enterprise sales, business partnerships and affiliate relationships. This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week with flexibility for in-office or hybrid work. This is an inside sales position with no travel requirements.

Position Overview
LawDepot is currently expanding and looking to recruit a Business Development Executive in Edmonton, Alberta. Working in the Business Development Department, you will be responsible for leading our enterprise sales, business partnerships and affiliate relationships. This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week with flexibility for in-office or hybrid work. This is an inside sales position with no travel requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and guide potential partners through the full sales cycle, including prospecting, outreach, onboarding, and ongoing support
- Establish and attain short-term and long-term sales goals, objectives, and targets
- Support sales growth by identifying key customer segments, shaping lead strategies, and recommending pricing or feature changes
- Contact prospective companies, websites, and affiliates to expand our partnership network
- Create strategies for lead generation, pricing, and pitching to boost conversions and drive revenue
- Assist the Product Manager in maintaining the feature enhancement backlog
- Proactively recruit and support affiliates for both internal and third-party programs
- Manage existing partner relationships to support program growth and long-term value
- Contribute to strategic growth projects, including expanding affiliate programs to the EU market
- Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities
- Assist in improving the sales and lead generation process
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in a Sales or Account Executive role
- Excellent communication skills with a strong understanding of sales psychology and techniques
- Proven ability to sell in a B2B environment, ideally with experience in SaaS or software sales
- Demonstrated ability to source and convert prospects through email, phone, and platforms like LinkedIn
- Familiarity with affiliate marketing and managing partner programs
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms like HubSpot is an asset
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and a self-driven attitude
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to collaborative projects
