U.S. Lead Generation Team Manager

We are seeking a U.S. Lead Generation Team Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our U.S. Lead Generation team. This role is responsible for onboarding and training new team members, driving process improvement, collaborating with marketing to align on campaigns, and ensuring the team is equipped to generate conversions and deliver exceptional customer service. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role is critical to building a tightly integrated U.S. sales and marketing cycle.
You’ll be the primary point of contact for the team and will play a hands-on role in coaching, reporting, and execution. Your ability to work within HubSpot to build reports, surface insights, and lead through data will directly impact growth, customer retention, and overall sales success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the U.S. Lead Generation team, providing guidance and support on inquiries, escalations, and customer-related issues to ensure seamless workflow and high service standards
- Collaborate with marketing to align team efforts with current promotions and campaigns
- Hire, onboard, and train new Lead Generators; refine SOPs to improve effectiveness and consistency
- Lead bi-weekly team meetings and maintain regular communication (emails, Teams updates, etc.)
- Coach team members with monthly 1:1s, provide ongoing feedback, and escalate development needs
- Ensure the team has access to all necessary tools, training, and product knowledge
- Serve as the first point of contact for cross-functional partners (Customer Service, IT, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
- Monitor performance metrics (calls, conversions, retention, etc.) and report KPIs to the CMO regularly
- Approve weekly hours for contractors
- Maintain partial lead generation responsibilities to stay close to the customer and lead by example
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in cold calling, inside sales, or customer service
- Experience supervising or mentoring team members (direct leadership experience is a strong asset)
- Confident communicator and coach, able to guide others and manage through challenges
- Proactively identifies and addresses opportunities, challenges, and potential improvements without needing direct supervision. Exhibits a self-starting attitude and consistently seeks ways to contribute beyond assigned tasks
- Highly collaborative and able to work cross-functionally to balance competing priorities
- Regularly evaluates workflows and processes to uncover inefficiencies. Recommends and implements solutions that enhance productivity, streamline operations, and reduce waste.
- Comfortable in high growth, evolving environments; thrives on building and improving processes
- Strong knowledge of HubSpot or equivalent CRM (building reports, coaching users, pipeline management)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and driven to contribute to a high-performance, customer-focused culture
