Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse to join our Respiratory Bronchoscopy team at the Kelowna General Hospital in beautiful Kelowna, B.C.

The Registered Nurse:
Shifts of work will be scheduled days, with shifts from 07:30 to 15:30 hours.
About this Location
Within the Kelowna General Hospital’s (KGH) Respiratory Services department, the bronchoscopy suite performs diagnostic and therapeutic bronchoscopies and Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS). Our department provides an exceptional professional environment for our bronchoscopy team and our staff have excellent clinical and communication skills, high commitment of professionalism and commitment as team players. Our team includes a Physician, 2 Respiratory Therapists, and the Registered Nurse.

The Registered Nurse:
- Provides nursing care to cardiac patients with complex heart failure, cardiovascular and other related chronic conditions to achieve and maintain optimal health, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
- Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
- Maintains and advances own clinical competence
- Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned
