Contract Garden Centre Merchandising Labourer

We are seeking a Garden Centre Merchandising Labourer - 2 Week Contract (Immediate Start)

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Garden Centre Merchandising Labourer for a 2-week contract with an immediate start. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors, and has a keen eye for product presentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain product displays and shelving in an outdoor garden centre environment
• Unload and move plant material to designated display area
• Ensure displays are neat, organized, and well-stocked according to merchandising standards
• Remove damaged product and maintain a clean, safe work area
• Communicate with on-site team and remote supervisor for daily tasks and updates
  
  

Requirements

• Previous garden centre or merchandising labour experience is required
• Working as a remote independant contractor that can be self motivated and take initiative to get the job done
• Physically fit and comfortable working in outdoor conditions (sun, rain, etc.)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
• Able to work a Mon-Thurs schedule from 8am-1pm during the 2 week period
  
  

Bonus

Hourly rate of pay is $22-$25/hr depending on experience

A Shift Retention Premium of $300 will be paid at the end of the 2-week contract for candidates who complete the entire contract and meet all job responsibilities, daily reporting and all shift tasks as assigned.
