The Senior Manager, Transformation Reporting Automation will work closely with the Director, Portfolio Oversight Reporting Management and the Transformation office to centralize and automate reporting requirements to report on the performance of International Banking portfolios across the credit lifecycle by ensuring that monthly portfolio performance reporting is delivered and executed in accordance with Scotiabank’s Risk Appetite and policies framework, governing regulations, guidelines, procedures and best practices across the industry.
Specifically, the individual is responsible for automation and production of polished monthly and quarterly reporting across all aspects of the credit lifecycle from Originations to Collections for executive level consumption. The individual is also responsible for coordinating data requirements with the Transformation MIS and Data Management Senior Manager to produce full end-to-end reporting.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
- Work closely with MIS and Data Management Senior Manager and the transformation office to identify reporting requirements and alignment of key risk indicator reporting methodology.
- Design PowerBI dashboards and automated visualizations leveraging data flows to automate monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Identify, evaluate, and align key risk indicators and reporting requirements established with the Transformation office.
- Assist data management and reporting initiatives without compromising standards of risk and internal control. The jobholder will liaise with businesses to foster the understanding and spirit of controls and ensure accurate and objective reporting to Senior Management.
- Design and develop data flows and automations increase operational efficiency, data accuracy, and support the production of dashboards and decks.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Identifies and executes any opportunities that will result in improvements to operational efficiency or accuracy of data and reporting.
- Creates an environment in which their team pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field
- Minimum 3 years Credit Risk Reporting experience across all aspects of Credit Lifecycle.
- Minimum 3 years experience automating polished dashboards and reports for executive level consumption.
- Ability to manage the consolidation of data across various data sources into a concise, standardized, and automated output.
- Strong proficiency with Excel automation and PowerBi visualizations
