Job Description:

As a Night Audit Patroller, you are responsible for patrolling Big White Central Reservations’ properties during the overnight shift from Midnight to 8am. You will be required to handle and resolve noise complaints and report any issues experienced during your shift in a nightly report. You must also develop a good understanding of the Front Desk operations as you will also be required to cover Night Audit Shifts.

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Participate in and pass our Driver Training Course
  • Patrol Big White Central Reservations’ properties
  • Resolve noise complaints
  • Report any issues experienced in a nightly report
  • Conduct guest check in and checkouts following all correct procedures
  • Make walk in reservations ensuring all bookings made adhere to Big White Central Reservations payment and cancellation policies
  • Run reports and audits
  • Prepare arrival packages
  • Make shuttle bookings ensuring all pertinent information is collected and shuttle schedules and policies are adhered to
  • Take cash, credit card and debit card payments when necessary
  • Ensure accurate information is provided to all clients with respect to all Big White and Big White Central Reservations products
  • Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional and consistent manner
  • Ensure high level of customer service is maintained at all times with genuine care to attention and detail
  • Assist guests with all questions and reasonable requests
  • Troubleshoot all guest issues
  • Handle guest complaints
  • Pickup and drop off guests to or from their accommodation
  • Develop a good understanding of the village layout and be able to give directions to all units in the rental pool
  • Communicate effectively with all departments, including Groups, Transpo, Housekeeping and Maintenance
  • Follow all Health & Safety protocols and procedures
  • Any other reasonable requests made by a Central Reservations Manager

Job Specifications:

  • Must have full-privileged BC driving license (no L’s, N’s or P’s) or be willing to obtain one with our guidance
  • Must have had a driving license for 3 years with a clean driving record
  • Must be able to obtain a Class 4 Unrestricted British Columbia Driver’s license if required
  • Full-time - working up to 40 hours per week
  • Start date mid-November
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Starting wage - $20.00 per hour
  • Staff accommodation may be available for approved applicants
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to maintain mental alertness due to overnight shift style
  • Must be able to assist with moving luggage
  • Must be able to shovel snow/ice
