What You’ll Like About This Job
The Fort McKay Group of Companies LP is hiring multiple roles for its operations at the Kearl Oil Sands Site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Openings include Labourers, Haul Truck Operators, and Grader Operators. These temporary camp-based roles follow a 14/14 rotation and include free flights from Edmonton or Calgary, meals and lodging, and highly competitive wages. These are excellent opportunities to gain oilfield experience or advance in heavy equipment operation in a safe, Indigenous-owned company.

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Clean 3-year driver’s abstract
- CSTS + OSSA/BSO/CSO certification
- For Operators: 1–3 years experience in mining or heavy equipment
- For Labourers: Physically fit and willing to learn
- Ground Disturbance II & First Aid (for Grader Operators)
- Previous oil sands or civil construction experience
- Positive safety-first attitude and strong time management
