Job Type: Full-time | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Position Purpose

To transform architectural concepts into precise technical drawings and high-quality visualizations, ensuring all documentation complies with local regulations and the studio’s design standards. This role is essential for obtaining permits and enabling the successful construction of residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce schematic, permit, and construction drawings.
• Integrate regulatory and technical requirements into design development.
• Make technical revisions based on regulatory feedback.
• Prepare complete documentation for permitting and construction.
• Generate schedules, forms, and other technical support materials.
• Create As-Built drawings and 3D site measurements using Matterport scans.
• Organize and back up graphic and technical files.
• Ensure compliance with the studio’s quality standards.

Requirements and Experience

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD and Twinmotion.
• 2–3 years of experience in architectural drafting.
• Knowledge of the British Columbia Building Code.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and MEP drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
