Position Overview:
The primary focus of a Camp Instructor will be to maintain the camp activities. Camp Instructor are asked to promote creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills of students by supporting the Instructor in the classroom. Programs are conducted for children ages 5-14, although not all assistant instructors are required to work with all age groups. This role requires internal collaboration and communication with Snapology Instructors & leadership as well as representing the Snapology organization to parents & children with a high degree of professionalism.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Greet parents and children as they enter Snapology
- Sign children in and out
- Monitor children
- Aid in Management of student behavior by enforcing rules and procedures
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of Snapology
- Organize Snapology program materials
- Complete special assignments as indicated by Snapology leadership
- Encourage students & parents to enroll students in future Snapology programs
- Participate in periodic Snapology training & staff meetings, as required
- Criminal and vulnerable sector check must be current
- Desire to work with children
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
