Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead and support a wide range of infrastructure planning and asset management projects, including master plans, intensification studies, Class Environmental Assessments (Class EAs), and hydraulic modelling studies.
- Manage technical components of water distribution, wastewater collection, and stormwater servicing projects from concept through delivery.
- Guide junior staff, contributing to team development and knowledge sharing.
- Serve as a key point of contact with clients, assisting with proposal development, presentations, and ongoing communication.
- Prepare and review high-quality project deliverables including reports, memos, modelling outputs, mapping, and design briefs.
- Contribute to innovative servicing strategies that align with evolving community and environmental needs.
- Degree in civil/environmental engineering, planning, or a related field; P.Eng. or eligible is preferred.
- 4–8 years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure planning, servicing, and hydraulic modelling.
- Proven ability to independently manage technical work and coordinate multidisciplinary project inputs.
- Proficiency with modelling software (e.g., InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, PCSWMM) and GIS tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing detailed reports and presenting to clients.
- Strong familiarity with Canadian municipal infrastructure standards and planning frameworks.
- Passion for sustainable infrastructure, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative project delivery.
