The VP Internal of UWaterloo will be responsible for overseeing internal operations, mentor-mentee coordination, and community-building initiatives within the Bridge to Campus branch. Success in the position would entail strong organizational execution of events, effective mentor-mentee pairings, and maintaining a cohesive and engaged mentor network throughout the academic year. • Compile the signed mentor contracts for the mentors at the branch
• Lead and execute various events throughout the year (i.e. mentor social events, elections, onboarding, etc.) with the support of the executive team
• Pair mentors and mentees, collaborating with the VP Communications
• Research, organize, and update various resources for the branch that can be used by mentors (eg. mentor handbook)
• Help maintain internal communication platforms, i.e. Discord/Slack, Google/Outlook Calendar
• Monitor pairings, mentor status and volunteer hours for the UW BTC branch
• Create cell groups of mentors to assign each group to one executive member
