About the Company: Integris Credit Union is excited to offer a full-time, permanent opportunity as an Insurance Rep 2 in Prince George River Point Branch. Integris is looking for an Insurance Professional to join the Insurance team as an Insurance Representative 2 on a full-time permanent basis with our Prince George, River Point Branch.
About the Role: As an Insurance Representative 2, you will demonstrate full confidence, and competence is servicing a wide range of personal lines insurance products. This includes homes, recreational vehicles, marine policies, mobile homes, and farm coverage. Depending on your experience and training, you may also manage less complex commercial risks such as commercial auto and fleet programs. This role is suited for experienced insurance professionals capable of completing independent risk assessments and managing client portfolios with minimal supervision, except in non-routine situations. You'll be responsible for delivering expert advice, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and policy requirements.
Pay range and compensation package
Salary Range: $25.00 to $31.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:
Member Servicing:
- Responds to general member inquiries about all products and services offered through the insurance agency.
- Processes auto and basic insurance transactions.
- Investigates and corrects account errors.
- Refers member to appropriate person for problem resolution.
- Collects payment, balances daily cash.
- May book appointments for other staff.
- Provides and explains insurance products and services.
- Resolve challenging member problems and complaints.
- Responds to emergencies and assists clients with their claims.
- Makes decisions based on individual member situations and insurance policies.
Service & Sales:
- Identifies client needs and provides information on basic insurance products such as risk coverage, benefits and other policy features best suited to meet the client’s needs.
- Cross sells additional products & services in scope of knowledge.
- Provides referrals to other employees in areas outside of knowledge area or position responsibilities.
- Promotes credit union products and services.
- Meets established sales & referral goals.
- Initiates regular ongoing contact with members and matches products/services to their individual needs.
- Processes a variety of customer transactions, (i.e., residential and recreational property; boats and other personal pleasure craft).
- Actively supports Credit Union related activities (i.e., identifies opportunities within accounts).
- Referrals are of a higher quality (i.e., sales consistently occur as a result of the referral).
- Processes renewals, endorsements, cancellations and change; re-markets renewals as per client needs.
Products & Services Knowledge & Application:
- May post payments.
- Auto insurance, accident benefits, underinsured motorist protection.
- Licensing transactions (i.e., transfer of vehicle ownership, registration of vehicle ownership, special coverage available).
- ICBC Batching.
- Familiarity with all aspects of personal lines.
- May sell farms, small commercial accounts and commercial auto/ fleets.
- Takes underwriting instructions for new and renewal business.
- Recognizes security and fraud risks.
- Takes responsibility for own career by meeting with Supervisor regularly to review progress against goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid Level 2 Insurance License preferred, minimum Level 1 License Required.
- Minimum continuing education credits mandatory for licensing.
- Familiarity with all aspects of personal lines.
- Commercial lines knowledge/experience considered an asset.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of ICBC and personal lines; commercial exposure considered an asset.
- Excellent communication, organization, and member service skills.
- Comfortable working independently with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in insurance software and broker management system.
- Ability to interact with members clearly and effectively.
- Accuracy in handling financial transactions and member information.
Required Skills:
Experience in servicing personal lines insurance products, strong communication skills, and proficiency in insurance software.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of commercial lines and experience with ICBC.
