Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Analyst to join our clients' Enterprise Networks team. These professionals will play a critical role in the administration, design, and implementation of LAN/WAN infrastructure across both corporate and SCADA environments. The ideal candidates will bring a deep understanding of modern networking technologies, strong hands-on experience, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and security-conscious environment. This position goes beyond routine operations—offering opportunities to influence architectural direction, improve reliability, and contribute to cutting-edge infrastructure projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, implement, and document enterprise network systems to ensure continuous, secure, and efficient operation.
  • Develop strategic plans for network evolution, aligning technology with current and future business needs.
  • Provide expert technical support and engineering for all network hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
  • Plan, implement, maintain, and test disaster recovery strategies for network infrastructure.
  • Provide support to corporate and field users, addressing technical issues and escalating as required.
  • Implement updates and upgrades to network equipment in accordance with security and operational standards.
  • Maintain network integrity through effective change control, problem management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Stay current with networking technologies, certifications, and industry developments.
  • Lead or support work process improvements and foster collaboration within the team.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and ITIL/Change Management processes.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and cross-functional initiatives, contributing technical expertise and solutions.
  • Collaborate across departments to design scalable and secure network solutions.
  • Represent the technology team with professionalism and a commitment to organizational goals

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of recent experience in network administration, analysis, and design/architecture.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Spine and Leaf data center networks using VXLAN with BGP EVPN.
  • Proven experience with routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment (routers, switches).
  • Hands-on experience with Fortinet equipment (firewalls, switches, access points).
  • Proficiency in Fortinet tools: FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiNAC.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Microsoft Azure network resources, including virtual networks, peering, route tables, Front Door, WAF, and NSGs.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Strong skills in managing load balancers and web application firewalls.
  • Deep understanding and implementation of network security best practices.
  • Demonstrated success deploying network technologies in enterprise projects.
  • Strong collaboration skills in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • In-depth understanding of hybrid enterprise networks (on-premises and cloud).
  • Additional experience with LTE and satellite communications is an asset.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and Change Management.
  • Experience supporting supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) networks.
  • Relevant work experience within North America.

Pay range for this role is from $69 - $89/hr depending on fit and experience. Candidates must be able to be on site in Regina.
