We are pleased to announce that we are expanding our business to Cambridge, Ontario so we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead our operations, drive performance, and foster a positive team culture. The successful candidate will be trained in our London ON warehouse; reliable transportation will be required.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor shipping and receiving and product handling
- Oversee daily operations of the warehouse and customer service/ pick-up areas
- Lead and manage two Team Leaders and approx 16-18 staff, including training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with OHSA and company policies
- Help develop and execute strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Analyze reports and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with senior leadership on budgeting, planning, and forecasting
- Partnering with the HR Manager to identify hiring needs, training and developing staff
- Set clear objectives and performance metrics for the teams, ensuring alignment with larger organizational goals Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Support the development and implementation of operational strategies that support the company's business objectives
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity
- Implement new systems or technologies to streamline operations and improve overall performance
- 5 - 8 years experience in a management role within a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong demonstrated leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience with inventory management and customer service operations
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Proficiency with warehouse and inventory software systems is an asset
- Ability to Pivot to the changing world of liquidations
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams in a metrics driven environment
- Experience with project management
- Ability to facilitate and develop team leaders into Managers
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
