Production Helper - Seasonal Student Position

Job Location: Mississauga, ON

Starting Rate of pay: $22.60

Shifts Available and Hours:

New employees will be assigned shifts based on the production shifts outlined below:

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Evening shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Overnight shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  
  

Job Responsibilities:

• Pack aluminum profile and prepare them for shipment.
• Operate industrial extrusion or packaging machines (training provided).
• Check order details to ensure the correct number of pieces with the required dimensions are delivered.
• Always comply with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Inspect materials to ensure quality control.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
  
  

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Physically capable of lifting a minimum weight of 50 lbs.
• Physically capable of working in a hot environment during the summer.
• Strong communication skills in English, spoken and written.
• Training in machining operating or metallurgy (asset).
• Work experience in an ISO-9001 environment (asset).
