Power BI Developer

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity is looking for a Power BI Developer to design and build interactive dashboards and visual reports that are user-friendly, clear, and aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports

• Connect to and transform data from various sources (e.g., Excel, SQL, APIs, SharePoint)

• Analyze complex datasets to provide insights on business performance and trends

• Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and iterate on solutions

• Creation of several operational reports

• Automate data refreshes and optimize report performance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Salesforce Architects, data analysts, and business units

• Document report logic, processes, and data source mappings

• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices.

Qualifications:

• A University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

• A minimum of 10 years of IM/IT experience

• Demonstrated experience in the IT field as a Developer/Analyst or related/similar role.

• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Power BI to develop dashboards and reports.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Demonstrated experience with presenting information and insights through various tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Power BI Reports, and Dashboards.

• Demonstrated experience in gathering information and understanding data structures from various sources. i.e. Salesforce, SharePoint sites, MS Excel, SQL databases etc.

• Demonstrated experience in working closely with Stakeholders to translate requirements into data visualizations and analytics, staging the data and publishing dashboards via the Microsoft Power BI service.

• Demonstrated experience in implementing and documenting a data refresh process for Microsoft Power BI Dashboards and/or reports.
