Our client, a boutique law firm in midtown Toronto, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Law Clerk to join their growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience handling all aspects of residential and/or commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and mortgage closings.

Job Description
Our client, a boutique law firm in midtown Toronto, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Law Clerk to join their growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience handling all aspects of residential and/or commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and mortgage closings.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage real estate files from open to close, including residential and commercial transactions
- Prepare and review legal documents such as purchase and sale agreements, mortgage documents, title searches, and closing documents
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, realtors, and other lawyers to ensure timely and accurate closings
- Conduct due diligence, including reviewing title and off-title searches
- Handle all aspects of closings, including registering documents and preparing final reports
- Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate law with a focus on closings (purchase/sale/mortgage)
- Strong understanding of real estate procedures and documentation in Ontario
- Proficient in Teraview, Conveyancer, and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full-time, in-office role at a conveniently located firm at Yonge and St. Clair
