SAP S/4HANA Business Analyst

On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Business Analyst for a contract position. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting SAP systems and processes, helping to ensure seamless operations and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities include contributing to ongoing SAP projects such as test management, business process documentation, and sustainment activities as well as managing vendor contracts and invoices. The successful candidate will join the IT-SAP team and collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of SAP projects and the ongoing support of SAP systems.

Responsibilities:

SAP Projects Activities:

• Closely involved in business process analysis and documentation of the business processes covered
• Be involved in the planning and coordination of SAP testing activities of ongoing SAP projects, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), help to track testing progress and perform reporting, identify risk and issues related to testing.
• Communicate effectively with both our consulting partner and business user groups to ensure the smooth execution of the testing
• Track testing bugs and monitor the resolving of issues.
• Monitor and report on testing progress, risks, and issues.
  
  

SAP Sustainment Activities:

• Participate in SAP sustainment regular calls and assist with issue tracking and follow-up.
• Assist in monitoring SAP sustainment work in our internal ITSM System tracking down their status and quality and help with service reporting.
• Assist with general communication related to SAP project and sustainment activities
• Help to develop SAP initiatives related training material under guidance
  
  

General IT-SAP Operational Activities:

• Assist in managing vendor contracts related to SAP services and solutions.
• Review and validate vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and process payments.
• Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and vendors to ensure alignment on SAP-related projects and initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge and prior experience with SAP S/4HANA in a Business Analyst, SAP user, or similar role.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP systems in Finance or Logistics (Supply Chain / Plant Maintenance).
• Solid understanding of SAP Application Lifecycle Management concepts and processes; experience with application testing is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP Master Data Governance processes and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with vendor management and contract processes is a plus.
• SAP certification(s) preferred but not required.
