Our associates are focused on providing our guests with the best stay possible, to help them pursue their passions through travel.
Together we have two unique experiences, with one address, and one team of hospitality professionals dedicated to being the best in everything we do.
OUR ROLE
We are in search of a friendly and efficient Houseperson, responsible for the daily cleaning of public spaces and ensuring housekeeping storage rooms are stocked with linens and supplies. Imagine how our guests feel when they enter the hotel and experience a spotless, fresh, clean, welcoming space. The work you do as a Houseperson has a tremendous impact on our guests’ impression and experience in the hotel and can ensure that our guests come back time and again.
Key Accountabilities Include
Provide the highest quality of service to guests and fellow associates at all times.
Make rounds through the halls each shift to ensure public areas are clean and tidy, taking care to remove or replace anything out of order.
Vacuum and maintain cleanliness in hallways, ceiling vents, meeting rooms and general public areas including the fitness area.
Clean and dust fixtures, ash urns, walls, linen rooms, signs, sconces, stairwells, doorframes, etc.
Transport clean and soiled linens to and from guest floors.
Deliver housekeeping items to rooms as requested.
Maintain all housekeeping storage areas.
Coordinate and help housekeeping with heavy lifting and priority requests.
Rotate mattresses.
Polish chrome and other materials requiring special care.
Communicate effectively with all appropriate operational departments.
Ensure proper stock levels of linens, cleaning supplies, and amenities.
YOUR STORY
An experienced professional with previous cleaning experience in a similar setting.
Someone with good communication skills, proficient in the English language.
Someone with a positive attitude.
Someone who places priority on providing guests with the best possible experiences, going above and beyond to ensure total satisfaction and guest loyalty.
Able to work with a variety of chemicals and cleaning supplies.
Understanding of WHMIS.
Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
Physically able to bend, lift, push, crouch, stand and walk for extended periods of time, as well as able to lift or carry up to 30 lbs.
