Our team is expanding and looking to hire a Quality Manager. We are looking for a dynamic and driven candidate interested in joining a fast-growing global company in the automotive sector.

This role ensures that products and services meet customer expectations and comply with regulatory requirements. Requirements
The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance and quality control within the organization. This role ensures that products and services meet customer expectations and comply with regulatory requirements. The Quality Manager will develop and implement quality management systems (QMS), drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead internal and external audits. Other duties include:
- Quality Management System (QMS)
- Maintain and continuously optimize the IATF 16949/VDA 6.3 system
- Lead customer audits (e.g., PPAP and MMOG/LE processes for original equipment manufacturers)
- Develop specialized quality control plans (Control Plans), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and inspection standards (SIP) for aluminum components.
- Process Quality Control
- Monitor critical parameters of aluminum die-casting, extrusion, and welding processes
- Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) and anomaly analysis (e.g., porosity and dimensional deviations)
- Promote problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and 5 Whys to address recurring quality issues and reduce Parts Per Million (PPM) defects.
- Supplier and Customer Collaboration :
- Evaluate the quality capabilities of aluminum material and mold suppliers through Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) audits
- Manage corrective action requests (SCARs) in a closed-loop system
- Handle customer quality complaints (e.g., claims processing)
- Provide regular monthly quality reports (QBR)
- Team and Cost Management
- Lead quality engineers and Quality Control (QC) teams to enhance inspection efficiency by introducing automated inspection technologies
- Manage quality costs (Cost of Quality - COQ), and minimize scrap rates.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or related fields is required
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality management for automotive aluminum components and be familiar with defect patterns associated with die-casting and extrusion processes.
- Preference will be given to those with experience in OEM or Tier 1 aluminum parts projects
- Proficiency in the APQP/PPAP process and aluminum part inspection techniques, such as X-ray and spectral analysis, is essential
- The candidate must also demonstrate expertise in using the seven major tools of Minitab and QC, along with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Fluency in English is mandatory due to the requirement of interacting with global clients, while proficiency in Chinese is considered an advantage.
