Quality System Engineer

Agilus is recruiting for a Quality System Engineer in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry in Windsor, Ontario.

Our Automotive Manufacturing client is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to support in maintaining and improvement the Quality Management Systems and implement corrective actions and findings from audits.

A Typical Day

• Conduct internal audits according to standards like IATF 16949, VDA, and AIAG CQI standards (e.g., CQI-9 for heat treating, CQI-15 for welding).
• Work with teams to close out corrective actions identified during audits and implement changes.
• Act as the point of contact between the company and external auditors or registrars.
• Manage and interpret customer-specific quality requirements and provide technical support.
• Drive improvements in the Business Management System (BMS) and document control processes.
  
  

Successful Candidates Will Have

• Four-year college degree, or equivalent experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Certified ISO/TS16949 Internal Auditor with a minimum of 3 years internal audit experience.
• IATF and VDA certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with AIAG Core Tools such as: PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) SPC (Statistical Process Control) APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis)
