About the role
As a Recruiter at Westbow, you will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts across a variety of departments, ensuring an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. You’ll partner closely with leaders to understand their needs and deliver tailored recruitment strategies that support our growth. This role offers a balance of hands-on execution and strategic input, with opportunities to contribute to employer branding and talent initiatives.
Contract Length: 14-18 months
Annual Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000

What you’ll be doing
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Lead and coordinate recruitment from job posting through onboarding for roles across the organization.
- Stakeholder Support: Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, provide market insights, and align recruitment strategies with business goals.
- Job Postings & Sourcing: Write and post engaging job ads on internal and external platforms; source candidates via LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, and other channels.
- Screening & Interviews: Screen resumes, conduct virtual interviews (MS Teams), and coordinate next steps with hiring managers.
- Candidate Experience: Provide clear communication and timely follow-ups to ensure a professional and engaging candidate journey. Making informed hiring recommendations based on assessment of candidates and department needs.
- Offer & Onboarding: Manage the offer process, including negotiations and onboarding coordination for new hires. Facilitate onboarding presentation for new hires and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Applicant Tracking System (ATS): Utilize ATS to manage candidates, candidate pipeline’s, main accurate records, and support efficient workflow.
- Recruitment Metrics: Track and report on recruiting KPIs to support continuous improvement.
- Recruitment Projects: Contribute to projects such as co-op planning.
- Vendor & Event Coordination: collaborate with external job boards, recruitment agencies, and represent Westbow at job fairs or networking events.
What we’re looking for
- 1+ year of experience in a Recruitment-related role.
- Experience in an HR or administrative support position is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is an asset.
- Intermediate level proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices.
