GrizzlyTrek is seeking Apprentice Welders for oilfield work based in Grande Prairie, AB. This full-time opportunity offers competitive pay and hands-on field experience in welding piping, heavy equipment, and structural components. Ideal for skilled tradespeople passionate about safety, quality, and working in challenging environments.
Perks & Benefits
- $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
- Field-based, full-time oilfield welding experience
- Work with a company focused on Indigenous career opportunities and long-term employment
- 3–5 years of welding experience in oilfield or heavy equipment
- Proficiency in SMAW, GTAW, FCAW welding processes
- Valid driver’s license and transportation
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid with CPR/AED
- CSO or BSO
- Fall Protection
- Confined Space Entry & Monitor
- WHMIS 2015
- Ground Disturbance (Level II preferred)
- CWB certification or pressure ticket
- Experience on live or production facilities
- Strong hazard assessment and JSA protocol knowledge
