ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

I CLIENT INTERACTION

Interact with commercial insurance clients to gather information, assess their insurance needs, and assist in policy-related inquiries.

The Ideal candidate should have completed the RIBO License, and must be able to come in the office 5 days per week.


II. POLICY PROCESSING

Assist in the processing of commercial insurance policies, including data entry, policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals.


III. DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT

Maintain accurate and organized documentation for commercial insurance policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures.


IV. COMMUNICATION

Communicate effectively with clients, underwriters, and other team members to convey policy details, coverage options, and any relevant changes.


V. RISK ASSESSMENT

Support in evaluating and assessing risks associated with commercial insurance applications, collaborating with underwriters as needed.


VI. CLAIMS ASSISTANCE

Aid clients in navigating the claims process, acting as a liaison between clients and claims adjusters to facilitate prompt and efficient resolution.


VII. POLICY REVIEW

Review and update commercial insurance policies regularly to ensure they align with clients' evolving business needs and industry regulations.


VIII. MARKET RESEARCH

Stay informed about market trends, new products, and changes in regulations related to commercial insurance to provide valuable insights to clients.


IX. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

Collaborate with insurance brokers, underwriters, and other team members to enhance overall service quality and ensure a seamless client experience.


QUALIFICATIONS

I. EDUCATION

High school diploma required; additional coursework or certification RIBO would be a great asset, or if you are willing to get the RIBO course.


II. EXPERIENCE

Previous experience in a similar role within the insurance industry is advantageous.


III. KNOWLEDGE

Familiarity with commercial insurance products, coverage options, and industry regulations.


IV. COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.


V. ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.


VI. TECHNOLOGY PROFICIENCY

Proficient in using relevant software for policy processing and documentation.
