The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) will provide administrative and clerical support to the Talent Acquisition Team throughout the recruitment lifecycle. The TAC will assist with coordination of recruitment requests, employee referral tracking, scheduling recruitment events, and conducting candidate background checks/references. The TAC will be an integral part of the TA Team to ensure a positive candidate experience from point of application to hire.
A Day in the Life (What you will do here):
- Manage and monitor the shared Talent Acquisition email inbox.
- Coordinate and schedule recruitment events.
- Support Talent Acquisition Specialists with posting jobs on internal and external job boards.
- Employee Referral Program management and tracking.
- Complete candidate background checks and references.
- Follow-up with candidates to complete onboarding tasks.
- Assist with manual tracking and reporting of recruitment activities.
- Update and organize job description library and interview guides.
- Coordinate translation of job descriptions and recruitment materials when required.
- Organize, coordinate and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
- Leverage technology and systems to assist with shortlisting applications.
- Participate in screening and interviewing activities when necessary
- Perform other tasks and projects assigned by your manager.
- Other duties as assigned by you manager
What you need to ensure you are set up for success:
- Minimum 1 year of Administrative and clerical background.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a recruitment capacity preferred.
- French/English bilingualism is required.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems such as Taleo, BambooHR or UKG is an asset.
- High level or proficiency with MS Office Suite and Sharepoint.
- Knowledge of AI technology and tools is a strong asset (ie. ChatGPT).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to multi-task in a very fast paced, ever changing environment.
