HVAC Estimator

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, working fully on-site in our Mississauga office.

Full time and permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Review quotation requests from our service technicians on parts and labour to repair HVAC systems and equipment.
• Review labor hours estimated by the technicians to complete the repairs and contact suppliers to get the equipment or parts cost to determine the estimation cost for our customers.
• Prepare estimate documentation for Account customers; maintain accurate estimates and obtain acceptance of the work by the client.
• Look for optimal suppliers, and order parts, materials and services for the organization in an efficient and timely manner.
• Contact subcontractors to get estimate on the work required.
• Follow up with customers regarding all outstanding service quotations.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements:

• Diploma of college studies in Building Mechanical Systems, Mechanical Engineering or diploma in refrigeration. In the absence of a diploma we will consider equivalent work experience.
• At least 1+ years of experience working as an estimator and / or buyer with a contractor specialized in air conditioning, refrigeration, heating or plumbing is an asset
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience in gathering pricing from suppliers.
• Experience in compiling accurate pricing.
• Knowledge of equipment manufacturers and specific parts is an asset.
• Knowledge in H.V.A.C. or mechanical systems is an asset.
• Experience with pricing platforms, systems and programs.
