Overview
Involved Media is looking for a Performance Media Buyer with in-depth platform expertise, performance-driven thinking, and strong client management skills to join our growing team. This role is hands-on and execution-focused — ideal for someone who thrives working in-platform and takes pride in launching, managing, and optimizing digital campaigns that deliver real business results.
You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end activation and management of campaigns across channels like Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more — including trafficking, QA, pacing, optimization, and performance reporting.
You will also be expected to effectively manage client communication, coordinate with vendors for direct buys, collaborate strategically with the planning team, and support training and development of colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main client contact for assigned accounts, implementing and owning campaign performance across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, Social Platforms (TikTok, Snap Chat, etc.) and other emerging platforms.
- Develop and oversee media strategies aligned to client objectives, including customer acquisition, brand growth, or lead generation.
- Own end-to-end campaign execution, including planning, trafficking, QA, launch, optimization, and reporting.
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights through performance reports and strategic recommendations.
- Monitor performance pacing and proactively manage budgets, bid strategies, and creative rotation.
- Be proficient in Keyword research, ad copy creation, competition analysis.
- Collaborate with specialists on keyword expansion, audience segmentation, A/B testing, and funnel optimization.
- Provide clear directions to creative and analytics teams, ensuring alignment across copy, visual, and targeting strategy.
- Keep clients informed on platform updates, industry trends, and testing opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-channel integration to deepen client impact.
- Ensure full compliance with client brand standards and platform advertising policies.
- Provide guidance and training to junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or College Diploma with a preferred focus on Media, Communications and/or Business Marketing; or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience managing paid media campaigns across both Paid Search (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads) and Paid Social (LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, etc.)
- Strong client-facing communication, presentation and reporting skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple clients or projects at once.
- Proficient in campaign setup, structure, and optimization best practices.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as:
- Google Ads & Google Analytics (GA4)
- Meta Ads Manager
- Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Familiarity with UTM tracking, conversion setup, and attribution models.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, performance-oriented agency or brand-side environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Additional Assets:
- Proficient in working with Datorama, Looker Studio, etc.
- Skilled in managing Programmatic, CTV, YouTube.
- Experience in using bid management or workflow automation tools (e.g., SA360, Smartly.io, Skai).
- Hands-on with LinkedIn Ads Manager.
- Fluent in French.

What You Should Know
- This role does not qualify for LMIA.
- This hybrid role will require you to be in the Markham office eight days per month; our office is meant to be a space to collaborate with and connect with other team members.
- The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, and individuals will be eligible to participate in our incentive program.
