Job Summary: Hologic is seeking a dynamic and driven Surgical Sales Specialist - 12 Month Contract to join our Canadian sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical device sales, with a focus on surgical products. As a Surgical Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Hologic’s innovative surgical solutions to healthcare professionals within the assigned territory in collaboration with your Territory Manager. Your goal will be to exceed sales targets, foster long-term relationships with clients, educate Healthcare professionals on our products and clinical outcomes, and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory in collaboration with your Territory Manager.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, hospital administrators, and other key healthcare stakeholders.
- Conduct product demonstrations, in-service training, and educational workshops for medical professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer service, and clinical support, to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Gather market intelligence on competitors' products, pricing, and strategies to inform sales tactics.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and educational events to network and promote Hologic’s products.
- Provide daily in-person case support for our products in a clinical setting.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies in all activities and communications.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to multiple stakeholders.
- Utilize CRM tools to document sales activities, manage accounts, and maintain accurate records.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience. Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on surgical products is an additional asset.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory. Often 2-3 nights a week away from home.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
