What You’ll Like About This Job
Fort McKay Group of Companies LP is hiring for multiple roles at the Kearl Oil Sands Site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Positions include Project Foreman, Labourer, and Haul Truck Operator. These are full-time temporary jobs with 14/14 rotational schedules, offering flights and camp accommodations. Successful candidates will be safety-focused, experienced, and ready to contribute to a respected First Nation-owned organization.

- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and 3-year clean abstract
- CSO, CSTS, OSSA or BSO certification
- Project Foreman: 10+ years in mining operations
- Labourer: General or construction labor experience
- Haul Truck Operator: 1–3 years with haul/off-highway trucks
- High school diploma or GED
- Pre-employment: drug/alcohol test, fitness test, criminal check
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to work 11.5-hour shifts, days and nights
- Strong safety mindset and adaptability
- Equipment operation skills (skid steer for laborers; heavy equipment for operators)
- Leadership experience and client relationship skills (for Foreman role)
