We are looking for a Process Serving Registry Agent who will be responsible for processing client files relating to the legal service of documents. Our entrepreneurial environment will provide plenty of opportunities for you to demonstrate your capabilities and be recognized for your accomplishments.
Key Responsibilities
- You will review the legal documents and client instructions, prepare documents and co-ordinate with process servers to personally serve the documents on parties.
- You will assist with providing client updates on local and out of town service files relating to the legal service of documents
- Your expertise in customer service will be key to liaising directly with our clients through the phone, email or in person
- You will ensure services are carried out in accordance with our client’s instructions and relevant rules of service
- You will prepare affidavits of service and performing other clerical tasks as required
- You will live and promote our Company’s core values when dealing with employees, clients and other business stakeholders to continue to grow our culture
- Previous experience in the legal field, having worked preferably as a paralegal or a legal assistant
- Familiarity with rules of court, legal document format requirements, and legal research considered an asset
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Understanding of the importance of accuracy regarding legal documents
- Organized and able to multi-task
- Team player with a caring work ethic
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Advanced communication skills in written and spoken English
- Fluency in another language an asset
- Time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Client-centric focus and positive attitude
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to effectively shift between competing priorities while still meeting tight deadlines
- Impeccable communication skills
- Enjoys working in a constantly changing team environment
