We're currently looking for an ambitious and self-motivated Junior Administrative Manager to join our Vancouver team. Position Overview
As Junior Administrative Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while gaining hands-on experience across administration, finance, and HR. This is a growth-oriented position suited for someone ready to take ownership, build structure, and make meaningful contributions to a growing company.
You’ll also support our HR function during a 15-month maternity leave, offering a unique opportunity to expand your skillset and leadership capabilities.
The Role:
Administrative Leadership
- Manage internal schedules, meetings, and communications
- Oversee office supplies and workspace organization
- Prepare documents, maintain filing systems, and support general correspondence
- Coordinate lease agreements and facility-related administration
- Manage company insurance records and workers’ compensation documents
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of company records
Financial Support
- Process accounts payable/receivable and track invoice status
- Support financial reporting and perform monthly reconciliations
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee pay records
- Coordinate deposits and occasional in-person banking
- Work closely with external accountants during audits
Human Resources (Temporary Coverage)
- Support recruitment: job postings, candidate scheduling, and onboarding
- Maintain employee records and support benefits administration
- Assist with internal policy communications and team engagement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years in an administrative role, ideally with exposure to finance or HR
- Someone ambitious and proactive, ready to grow into a leadership role
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience with invoicing, payroll systems, or bookkeeping is an asset
- Trustworthy, professional, and able to handle sensitive information
