Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Building Automation Service Technician with hands-on experience in HVAC control systems, specifically Reliable Controls systems. The successful candidate will join the team of professionals committed to delivering high-quality automation solutions for both new construction and retrofit projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair Reliable Controls HVAC Building Automation Systems.
- Install Reliable Controls DDC controllers and system components.
- Commission and perform functional testing of Reliable Controls DDC systems.
- Assist with the design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic systems and components.
- Program, configure, and optimize Reliable Controls systems for peak performance.
- Perform preventative maintenance on existing HVAC control systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an automation engineering or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in HVAC controls systems programming and commissioning (preferably with Reliable Controls).
- Minimum 1 year of experience specifically programming and commissioning Reliable Controls systems.
- Strong grasp of the English language, with excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively on job sites.
- Familiarity with BACnet protocols and integration.
- Experience with energy management strategies and optimization.
