Role description:

Our London office is searching for a Civil Engineering Intern to join its growing team. You will be a key member of a focused and dedicated team. The group provides preliminary design services, detailed design services, preparation of tender documents, assistance with procurement and tender evaluation, contract administration, engineering services during construction and post construction services for civil work. The projects are for both private and public clients in various jurisdictions.

Mobility

Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends are requiring today’s mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world’s growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods.

Role accountabilities:

  • Assist with quality control/assurance process
  • Quantity take offs
  • Cost Estimation
  • Assist with civil design work
  • Field measurement and Site inspection

Qualifications & Experience:

  • currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering program in University or College
  • Completed 1-2 years of the program
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to work effectively independently and on a team
  • Previous work experience is an asset

The salary range for this position is $20-28/hour. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
