Engineering Support Specialist

We are currently seeking a qualified Engineering Support Specialist. The role involves providing technical leadership and hands-on support for the development, testing, and troubleshooting of optical test systems in a controlled, cross-functional engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance to engineering teams with respect to optical test systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans associated with building and testing optical hardware.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering problems associated with manufacturing and testing of optical systems.
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards and customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and efficiency.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in an advanced technical role providing test engineering support for optical product related test systems.
• Diploma Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
