Job Purpose:
Under the direction of the Accounting Supervisor, this position participates in all aspects of department functions, i.e., accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, etc. This position provides support in posting journal entries and finalizing financial statements.

Job Purpose:
Under the direction of the Accounting Supervisor, this position participates in all aspects of department functions, i.e., accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, etc. This position provides support in posting journal entries and finalizing financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the accounts receivable and payable functions through invoice processing and management and performing reconciliations.
- Process revenue through utilization of company software programs.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Assist in the processing of month end general ledgers and related account analysis to support finalization if company financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze management reports, including variance analysis and trend reports
- Assist with external audits
- Identify and support improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting systems
- A combination of education and experience will be considered:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; or a certificate or diploma in an equivalent field.
- 1+ year of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Drive and initiative to take on projects and other ad hoc work.
