On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Analyst, Payment Modernization Project for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.


Senior Business Analyst, Payment Modernization Project - Job Description:

The Senior Business Analyst will lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for the Payment Modernization Project. This role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to design, develop, and implement a new internal payments platform, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.


Senior Business Analyst, Payment Modernization Project - Responsibilities:

• Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for the payment modernization project.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure successful project delivery.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure seamless integration and implementation of the new payments platform.
• Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to bridge identified gaps.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to end-users.
  
  
  

Senior Business Analyst, Payment Modernization Project - Mandatory Skills:

• 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst (preferably with a Financial Institution).
• Knowledge of payment systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with capital markets.
• Proven experience in leading complex projects and driving business transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
