Associate Lawyer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Lawyer located in Prince George, BC. The Associate Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal advice to clients, representing clients in court, preparing legal documents, and conducting legal research. The role requires a high level of professionalism and attention to detail as the Associate Lawyer will handle various legal matters and ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong legal research and analytical skills
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing legal documents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to represent clients in court with confidence
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Understanding in at least one of the various areas of law including, estate litigation, wills and power of attorney, real estate, reorganizations, purchase and shareholder agreements, commercial litigation, civil litigation, commercial litigation, corporate & commercial transactions, insurance defence, family law, corporate filings, and other matters.
