Are you someone who has a passion for decarbonization, including carbon capture? Our Calgary market entry initiative is currently looking to identify a Process Systems Specialist for the team! This role would be based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

As part of this role, you will be involved with providing process engineering leadership for major studies, supporting business development for specialized engineering solutions, and ensuring effective client communication focused on value-added solutions.

What will you be doing?

  • Deliver process system designs both independently and as part of a highly qualified technical team with a focus on decarbonization / carbon capture
  • Provide leadership to internal and 3rd party process resources to ensure consistent application of technical approach
  • Communication of process system principles internally and externally to support client alignment and effective team execution
  • Maintain network of internal process resources to support application of global learnings and best practices in carbon management systems
  • Support development of presentations and communication tools to effectively deliver secured scope and attract new opportunities

We Think You Should Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Current registration with APEGA as a P.Eng. or demonstrated ability to obtain in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated experience leading process system designs with particular focus on decarbonization / carbon capture systems
  • Demonstrated experience providing technical oversight and leadership for process system teams
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating resource contributions from multiple locations
  • Demonstrated experience with energy facility modification engineering
  • Knowledge of process simulation
  • Strong front end and concept design experience
  • Experience working with Canadian and International Standards
  • Experience delivering technical reports and supporting presentation materials
  • Ability to see customer needs and develop solutions tailored to client requirements
