This is a vacant position. Candidates must be a minimum age of 17 years.

You’ll also…

  • Maintain water park equipment such as pumps and filter tanks
  • Organize, document and perform with minimal supervision followingcompletion of necessary training
  • Use colour comparator test equipment, results and understand the automated chemical controls system and components
  • Log chemistry test readings and gauge readings
  • Assist supervisor in daily activities
  • Take flow meter readings, gauges, and other recording devices
  • Inject and mix chemicals
  • Operate various pool equipment
  • May monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems for normal operation
  • May collect, test and analyze water samples for chemical and bacterial analysis
  • Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Individuals enrolled in or graduate of a post-secondary Plumbing, Environmental/Chemical Engineering program (an asset).
  • Previous experience in plumbing, pool maintenance or chemical treatment.
  • Knowledge of water chemistry and water treatment.
  • Prior pool experience (an asset).
  • Ontario driver’s license (G/G2) (an asset).
  • Availability starting at 6:00am with a rotating schedule that will cover days, afternoons, on weekends and statutory holidays
