  • Provide hands-on leadership by mentoring, coaching, and guiding employees, addressing employee relations issues, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Lead and enhance safety performance on shift, promoting a proactive safety culture through training, accident prevention, and rehabilitation programs, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage shift maintenance activities, resolving equipment breakdowns in coordination with the maintenance team to maintain uninterrupted plant operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives on shift, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across end to end operations.
  • Monitor and manage the plant's operational costs and yield, working closely with the Plant Manager to optimize performance and contribute to the overall plant objectives.
  • Address performance and attendance matters in collaboration with HR, ensuring that all plant staff meet operational expectations.
  • Ensure full compliance with CHEP procedures and work instructions, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and in line with company standards and operational goals.
  • Support for 3rd party programs
  • Flexibility to work off shifts when required
  • Six Sigma certification and 5S demonstrated knowledge and experience an asset
  • CMMS experience an asset
  • Excellent demonstrated leadership and communication skills a definite asset
  • Experience in change management

  • Fournir un leadership pratique, en encadrant et en guidant les employés, en abordant les problèmes de relations avec les employés et en favorisant un environnement de travail positif et productif
  • Diriger et améliorer le rendement en matière de sécurité pendant les quarts de travail, en promouvant une culture de sécurité proactive par le biais de programmes de formation, de prévention des accidents et de réadaptation, en assurant le respect des normes de sécurité
  • Gérer les activités d'entretien des quarts de travail, en résolvant les bris d'équipement en coordination avec l'équipe d'entretien pour maintenir les opérations ininterrompues de l'usine
  • Diriger des initiatives d'amélioration continue sur les quarts de travail, en mettant en œuvre les meilleures pratiques pour améliorer l'efficacité, la qualité et la rentabilité des opérations de bout en bout
  • Surveiller et gérer les coûts d'exploitation et le rendement de l'usine, en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec le directeur de l'usine pour optimiser le rendement et contribuer aux objectifs globaux de l'usine
  • Traiter les questions de rendement et d'assiduité en collaboration avec les RH, en veillant à ce que tout le personnel de l'usine réponde aux attentes opérationnelles
  • Assurer la pleine conformité aux procédures et aux instructions de travail de CHEP, en veillant à ce que les tâches soient effectuées avec exactitude et conformément aux normes et aux objectifs opérationnels de l'entreprise
