The Ro
leWe are seeking an Intermediate Medical Device Engineer to design, build, and test devices and applications for the medical industry. You will own your projects from concept through to production, with responsibility for planning, execution, and collaboration across departments. - ys.Support and contribute to the Quality Management System (ISO 1348
- 5).Translate high-level concepts into manufacturable designs through rapid prototyping and iterati
- on.Perform material characterization and mechanical testing under ISO/ASTM standar
- ds.Design and validate test setups for device and material performan
- ce.Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, quality, production, and business development tea
- ms.Contribute to strategic development planning and continuous improvement initiativ
- es.Guide or mentor junior team members when need
ed.
Qualificat
- ionsBachelor's degree in Materials, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineer
- ing.3+ years of experience in medical device development within a regulated environm
- ent.Strong understanding of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and QMS documentat
- ion.Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently from concept through product
- ion.Proficient in mechanical design principles, GD&T, and manufacturing proces
- ses.Hands-on experience with mechanical testing and data interpretat
ion.
Assets (Nice-to-H
- aves)Experience with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Auto
