Job Overview

We are seeking three highly motivated Business Analyst / QA professionals with strong experience in Asset Management or Financial Services to join our dynamic team. This role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting current and future state processes, and leading QA efforts including test planning and execution. You will work on one or more projects in a fast-paced environment, collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders, developers, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
  • Develop current vs. future state process flows; identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Create Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and user stories.
  • Document functional specifications, data flows, and system integrations.
  • Develop and execute test cases; perform functional and regression testing.
  • Analyze and document test results; collaborate with developers for issue resolution.
  • Utilize tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira for tracking tasks, user stories, defects, and test cases.
  • Collaborate with developers and SMEs to ensure end-to-end solution quality.
  • Perform data validation using SQL and assist with root cause analysis.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or QA Analyst, preferably in Asset Management or Financial Services.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong proficiency in documenting workflows and business/functional requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with test case creation and execution.
  • Basic SQL skills for data validation and querying.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience documenting logic in Excel Macros or Alteryx pipelines.
  • Ability to create proof of concepts or demos using scripting or Excel Macros.
  • Familiarity with Databricks or similar platforms for schema/table design and data modeling.
  • Exposure to Spark, Pandas, and dashboarding tools such as Power BI or Databricks.
  • Experience collaborating with developers to define domain/functionality-driven APIs.
  • Working knowledge of macros, EUC tools, and Excel automation.
