Project Details:
Client is seeking an additional person to help with Network Security tasks like programming switches and routers, etc. This person would be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a secure network infrastructure. This includes configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, ensuring network security policies are enforced, monitoring network traffic for threats, and collaborating with other IT teams to ensure a robust and secure environment.

- Palo Alto – Firewalls
- Cisco – Catalyst Switches and related Security Technologies (EXIS)
- Field Networking – IoT experience and Citrix NetScaler
- Security Protocols and VPN Knowledge
- Strong Understanding of Network Security Principles : This includes knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs, and security protocols like SSL/TLS.
- Deep Understanding of Palo Alto Firewalls : Proficiency in PAN-OS, Panorama, and other Palo Alto products and services.
- Experience With Cisco Catalyst Switches : Familiarity with their configuration, troubleshooting, and role in network security.
- Familiarity With Security Technologies : Knowledge of IDS/IPS, VPNs, and other security solutions.
- Experience With Network Monitoring Tools : Proficiency in using tools like Panorama, SIEM systems, and network traffic analyzers.
- Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills : Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and identify root causes.
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills : Ability to work effectively with other IT teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to Document Technical Information : Ability to create and maintain clear and concise documentation, including network diagrams and change logs.
- Desirable Certifications : CISSP, CCIE Security, CCNP Security, or equivalent.
- Seniority : Mid Level to Senior Experience needed (5+ Years is the goal)
