1st Shift - Fabricator

Summary

The Fabricator will work with metal and composite materials to assist build and assemble MIRATECH products based on technical drawings and specifications. Responsible for ensuring high quality fabrication while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment (e.g., saws, welders, presses).
• Operate machinery including shears, brakes, rollers, and CNC equipment, depending on expertise.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring proper operation and cleanliness.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or trade certification is an asset.
• 2+ years of fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and machinery.
• Experience with welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick) is highly desirable not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
• Problem solving and communication skills.
