Solution Architect

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Solution Architect at a senior level with significant technical expertise to review the current environment and design and develop a roadmap to link the new and ongoing implementations of the Fusion SaaS business strategy and technical solutions to DTI’s remaining BAS legacy applications and databases.
Responsibilities:
• ERP Solution Architect and Technical Solution Analysts
• Fusion Support Team
• Applications support team
• Other IT teams (Infrastructure, DBAs, etc.)
• Others as identified, required
• DTI Application Environment Current State Analysis to:
o Verify the applications impacted by previous (ERP R4 & R8) and future ERP releases
o Verify all the databases and/or data warehouses impacted by previous (R4 & R8) and future ERP releases
• Planned Fusion future state:
• Document architecture standards for Fusion integration points, as they apply to applications
• A/P chart of accounts
• Transactions
• HR integrations (payroll, leave)
• Application Fusion Native Roadmap - based on the documented Application Current State and planned Oracle Fusion future state, develop a roadmap that:
o Identifies specific initiatives with written descriptions to be used as a blueprint for both business and technology services
o Sequences and prioritizes the initiatives
o Contains strategic initiatives to achieve the Fusion Native objectives as well as any tactical initiatives to maintain operations while the strategy is realized
• Technology Gap & Risk Report between current environment and future state:
o Work with stakeholders to understand planned future state
o Work with IT operations to understand existing solution and current application & database risks
o Document associated risks of integration from a business perspective while considering the impact to IT operations
• Work Packages (WPs):
o High-level descriptions of the technology target state for key components including databases, applications, platforms, and integration points within a system context diagram
o Outline the scope of each work package to reach the future state
o Work packages are to be clear in their intent and have estimated effort, cost, risks, and planned outcome that include content and details such as:
o Stakeholder
o Work scope
o Risk & issues
o Constraints
o Schedule
o Milestones with specific deliverables
o Quality criteria
o RACI matrix
• Other duties as required:
o Review and analyze business requirements for existing functionality, integration, new functionality in a Fusion Native future state
o Review existing options already identified by stakeholders
o Present options to be explored in more detail to business stakeholders
o Schedule sessions with Fusion teams and the business to understand if they meet critical business requirements and assess each option for cost, effort, benefits and risk in a standard manner
Qualifications:
General Experience:
• 5 years: Experience in successfully planning, scoping, managing, facilitating, and completing identified SOW deliverables.
• 5 years: Experience in working independently to identify options and perform benefit analysis (i.e., cost, technology) to simplify assessment for decision makers.
• 5 years: Experience in roadmap development, initiative scoping, effort estimation, and Business Case development.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presenting skills in English.
• 5 years: Experience in assessing and producing application and data warehouse architectures including system integrations.
• 15 years IT experience, including at least 5 years in a technology solution architecture role.
Scored Requirements
• 5 years: Experience assessing and producing application architectures including ERP system integrations.
• 3 years: Experience and familiarity with a Public Service Oracle Fusion SaaS or other ERP solution, including module specification, organizational complexity, and deliverables.
• 5 years: Experience and knowledge with Oracle Fusion SaaS modules, data formats, and other ERP systems or similar assignments.
• 5 years: Experience working with multiple governance structures to gather information and gain consensus on a proposed technology state.
• 3 years: Experience creating outcome-focused roadmaps.
• 5 years: Experience leading efforts to modernize or move legacy custom-developed applications into consuming Fusion native or other ERP integration data.
• 3 years: Experience supporting or designing roadmaps for transitioning business applications into a future state.
• 10 years: Experience working in a team environment focused on support and maintenance, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
