Director, Partner Solutions
Sales Enablement - Indirect

The Director, Partner Solutions will:
Generate revenue by soliciting, understanding, and interpreting needs of developing accounts:
Conduct telephone calls, video calls and in-person visits to existing and prospective advisors
Work with our existing distribution network of advisors to understand their needs and their client’s needs
Where applicable, pull in subject-matter experts to support advisors on new business opportunities and client retention
Leverage networking events, social media, and advisor referral to open new opportunities
Conduct research to qualify prospective advisors and determine if they are an appropriate partner for People Corporation
Stay current on relevant industry news, product solutions and our competition
Form and maintain strong relationships
Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with existing advisors and prospective advisors in your assigned region
Maintain agreed-upon levels of face-to-face contact with advisors you partner with in your region
Prepare and participate in scheduled sales meetings and 1:1 reviews/coaching
Treat your colleagues with dignity and respect and form synergistic relationships internally
Collaborate and share ongoing best practices, sales, marketing, and business development ideas and strategies with peers and advisors
Encourage continuous learning within the team – solicit/provide help and training for professional development and achievement of sales objectives
Proactively seek and support the development of new initiatives to enhance People Corporation’s success and market presence
Measure Effectiveness of Sales Efforts
Collaborate with the Vice-President, Partner Solutions Distribution, MGA+ to formulate, agree upon and implement a comprehensive annual business plan for the region, as well as management strategies to ensure proper coverage of the entire territory
Execute on the business plan to achieve annual growth targets
Have a high-level understanding of our solutions suite, to identify revenue opportunities for advisors and People Corporation
Continually review performance against annual business plans
To be Successful as a Director, Partner Solutions, You Will Need:
Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience in the insurance industry, working in a target-driven environment
Highly motivated, competitive, and results-oriented sales professional
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to thrive in a team environment
Strong organizational and networking skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Independent self-starter who is confident, positive, enthusiastic, and professional
Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, while meeting critical deadlines
Not afraid to challenge the status quo
Motivated to embrace and evangelize our value proposition in the industry
Post-secondary education
Proficient technology skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
All-star candidates will have:
Level II Life License and/or CEBS GBA an asset
