JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Survey Coordinator, is responsible for providing support to Project Managers and operations with the execution of survey work. In this role you will be assisting in Crew scheduling, equipment provisioning, and overseeing field data submissions. This role is also responsible for processing data, calculating, and drafting survey plans ensuring QA/QC methods are being utilized.
At times, this role may be providing additional project management support and supervise employees within the operation.
WORK CONDITIONS
This role will be located in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Relocation assistance available.

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
Post-secondary diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology or equivalent experience in the Geomatics industry
5 + years Geomatics Industry experience
Experience managing survey field work
Indepth knowledge of data processing, QA/QC in Trimble Business Center
In-depth experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Construction and major projects experience, with bridge construction experience being an asset
Strong work ethic and proven reliability
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Proven ability to learn, take direction and accept coaching feedback
Passion for excellence and attention to detail
Desire to train and learn new skills
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

OPERATIONS:
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Oversee field crew scheduling, assign work, supervise execution of work and quality
Checking drafted plans
Performing Calculations
Processing Field Data
Plan drafting and reporting
Troubleshooting issues and handling field crew questions
Maintaining accurate inventory records of all equipment and materials
Maintain and care for corporate vehicles (includes maintaining survey supplies and keeping the truck clean and serviceable)
Develop strong colleague relationships and support other regional operations when needed
