As a ULL Network Analyst / Electronic Trading Analyst, you will work with our developers, quants, traders and technology experts to implement, test and continuously deliver new features and products to our customers

Your job
Network Engineering (55%)
- Performing network support and analysis in a multi-site, multi-server complex environment focused primarily on Arista Layer 3 switches, Arista layer 1 switches, Corvil, proprietary FPGA and related technologies
- Configure, install, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, network security, and servers
- Implement networking projects and collaborate with vendors to meet service objectives
- Create and maintain documentation detailing connectivity to financial exchanges and third-party vendors
- Monitor and address IT security issues (PCI/SOX compliance).
- Perform daily maintenance, tuning, and health checks of systems and infrastructure
- Automate configuration, monitoring, and alerting via scripting
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Provide after-hours support for mission-critical systems
- Troubleshooting and resolve escalated issues and maintain system uptime via Jira.
- Manage vendor quotes, statements of work, and invoice reviews
- Ensure maintenance agreements are current.

Prerequisites
- Degree in computer science or information management, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a network engineering or related role within a broker dealer
- CCNP certification mandatory, CCIE preferred, AWS Network Associate, an asset
- Expertise with Arista/Cisco core technologies (e.g., ASR 4k, Catalyst 6500) with strong Cisco IOS knowledge
- OSPF/BGP, multicast (PIM-SM), IP/ARP/MAC, spanning-tree, VLAN, NAT, QoS troubleshooting
- Arista Layer 1 switches (Metamako), Corvil CNE for trading data capture
- Cisco ASA, site-to-site VPNs (IKEv2); Checkpoint, an asset
- Python, Bash, Netconf (asset).
- Strong communication and documentation (Visio)
- Ability to maintain positive and professional relationships with external vendors, service providers and customers
