We are looking for a DevOps Software Engineer to support the development, testing, and deployment of mission-critical aerospace software systems. This role focuses on building and maintaining secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will play a key part in advancing automation, improving development workflows, and supporting cloud infrastructure for aerospace applications.

We are looking for a DevOps Software Engineer to support the development, testing, and deployment of mission-critical aerospace software systems. This role focuses on building and maintaining secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will play a key part in advancing automation, improving development workflows, and supporting cloud infrastructure for aerospace applications.
The DeveOps Software Engineer objectives are:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for the automated testing and deployment of aerospace software systems.
- Support software teams in integrating DevOps practices within regulated development environments.
- Manage and provision AWS infrastructure for simulation, testing, and production environments.
- Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with aerospace industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, systems, and flight engineering, to enable continuous integration in safety- and mission-critical workflows.
- Background in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
- Understanding of secure software development and deployment practices.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with attention to detail and reliability.
- Proven experience with AWS services, especially in infrastructure automation and deployment.
- Strong programming skills with TypeScript; additional scripting languages (e.g., Python or Bash) are a plus.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with aerospace software development standards (e.g., DO-178C, ARP4754A) is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes) in cloud environments.
- Work can be done remotely.
- For employees based in Montreal, the work model is hybrid (at least one day at the office).
- The position might require travel to visit customers (in North America)
